Hello World,

Back from my holidays just in time to compete in my own garden Olympics.

Grandma sent me a picture of the torch as it sailed past her balcony but Mummy said I couldn’t light one of my own. Spoilsport!

A clear round on my horse gave me a gold but Mummy said it didn’t count because there was no-one else taking part – so I couldn’t have a Mini Magnum for a prize. When I explained to Daddy that I was disappointing the dragons and pirates who had also been taking part, he said Mummy’s word was law. But he slipped me a Fruit Shoot as he thought that perhaps my horse was thirsty and we must always look after our animals.

While I was away, I perfected jumping into the swimming pool without my armbands. Mummy said I must try not to do it in the deep end as she may not always be there to fish me out.

And at last I have a bike with stabilisers. I am practising each day but it is hard remembering to point the bike and turn round the pedals at the same time. And then I forget I am using the breaks when I am pedaling hard – so I don’t move at all. It is very complicated.

Daddy and the big boys at the studio will be joining me at The Locarno Triathlon to raise more money for VITAL. Last year they built a well for the children in Kolkata but we need a lot more money this year to grow the school. Wish me luck and please help my friends in India.

My name is Harry.

And I am 3 years old.

PS  Vonny says that if you want to know more about the poor children, you should visit http://vitalforchildren.org/

It’s closer than going to India!
